RCS&RDS Professionalism

Of course, I’m actually talking about lack of professionalism.
My girlfriend’s broadband connection got cut off for not paying an invoice THAT WAS PAID over 45 days ago!
As her spokesperson (and person who tries to cut through the bullshit and stupidity of all private and public institutions), I ended up talking to the people from RDS and then sending them a fax with a copy of the payment order that gave them their money oh so long ago.
Five hours later, still no connection.
Another call I made shows the professionalism of one nobody from Customer Service:
- “The connection will be reestablished after the payment is confirmed”
- “The payment will be confirmed when our Collections staff confirms it”
- “The confirmation will take place when Collections confirms it”
- “I cannot transfer you to Collections”
- “I cannot provide you with a phone number for Collections”
- “I cannot transfer you to a superior”
- “IS THERE ANYTHING ELSE I CAN HELP YOU WITH!??!?!?!!?”
…
Update: 48 hours later, still no connection, and RDS refuses to confirm the fact that the payment has been made to them. As of right now we’ve filed complaints with National Authority for Consumer Protection (for non-providing of paid services) and ING Bank (the guys from RDS say that their payment is not confirmed and that it’s… the bank’s fault - Yeah, right…).
Update 2: After !!!6 days!!!, a couple dozen phone calls, an audience and a question which will forever remain in the RDS phone log hall of fame and which I asked in the spirit of sexual freedom (or just because I was really pissed off)… “Besides paying for the Internet services, exactly who do I have to blow to get a working Internet connection?”… they finally reactivated my account. The very next day they called to tell me that they’re gonna suspend it again if I don’t pay them the bill which I already paid so long ago. These people are just morons.
