How to tell Băsescu asked for favors from the “oligarchs”
Taguri: No comment, Politică, Presă, România
Well… you just have a look at the news agencies and news sites, and see how many people were supposedly at the rally in support of Romanian President Traian Băsescu, at Piaţa Universităţii [University Square].- Antena 3: ~2000
- TVR: ~2000
- Jurnalul Naţional: ~2000
- Hotnews: ~2000
- NewsIn: ~6000 (”Băsescu, received ovations at Universitate from approximately six thousand people“)
Note: NewsIn is a part of the Realitatea-Caţavencu group which is owned by so-called “oligarch” Sorin Ovidiu Vântu.
To Băsescu ass-kissers: Live well… and prosper! [Satyric reference to Traian Băsescu's campaign slogan]
Update (23 APR 2007): Today’s phenomenal rally is only being transmitted live by certain TV stations, amongst which Realitatea. So, suddenly, in the view of some fans of Băsescu, Sorin Ovidiu Vântu, for example, is no longer an oligarch. Need I say more?…

SOV is not related with editorial politics of realitatea tv.
Sorin Ovidiu Vântu is as involved in the editorial politics of Realitatea TV as is Dan Voiculescu in the editorial politics of Antena 3 and you know it very well but you choose to be biased. It’s your choice.
