For almost all my .ro domains primary.rotld.ro and secondary.rotld.ro are now reporting that they have no DNSs set up, although a whois lookup shows them there…

This is ROTLD CRETINISM & STUPIDITY!!!

Many of my friends, as well as many other Romanian bloggers such as zoso and piticu have the same problem…

Apparently, the root DNS servers are missing and once the TTL of the .RO NS records expires from cache DNS servers, all of Romania’s Internet will have been down.

UPDATE: They apparently managed to reconnect the servers but it will take a while until the .RO will be fully back online. This issue represents serious proof of cretinism and bad management.

A DNS traversal for antena3.ro (major Romanian TV station) looked like this earlier (and due to no fault of their own):

Pentru mai toate domeniile mele .ro serverele primary.rotld.ro şi secondary.rotld.ro raportează acum că nu am nici un DNS setat, deşi apar pe whois…

CRETINISM AL ROTLD!!!

Poate vă verificaţi şi voi domeniile şi daţi ştirea mai departe?

Mulţi prieteni de-ai mei precum şi alţi bloggeri, cum ar fi zoso şi piticu suferă de aceeaşi problemă…

Aparent, serverele principale sunt actualmente dispărute, iar de îndată ce va expira TTL-ul înregistrărilor NS ale domeniilor .ro, întreg Internetul din România va fi down.

UPDATE: Aparent au reuşit să reconecteze serverele însă va mai dura ceva până .ro-ul îşi va reveni. Aceasta problemă reprezintă o dovadă de cretinism.

Un DNS traversal pentru antena3.ro arăta aşa mai devreme:
