The President of Romania, Traian Băsescu, signed on Thursday, May 24th 2007, upon the completion of all legal procedures, the Decree for withdrawing the “Star of Romania” National Order in the rank of Knight which had been bestowed to Senator Corneliu Vadim Tudor.
