Discussion had with a sales rep from Ultra Pro.
Him: “You can’t pay cash on delivery if you want the product invoiced to your company. If you want, you can make a bank transfer.”
Me: “If I transfer you the money will you still deliver the product today?”
Him: “No. After the payment is confirmed…”
Me: “I want the product today. Not tomorrow, not the day after tomorrow, when you finally see the money in your account. The same idiot receipt you’d give an individual applies to a legal entity. What’s the problem?”
Him: “This is the company’s policy. If you want the product today and want it invoiced to your company, you can come buy it from our headquarters and pay cash here.”
Me: “It’s a stupid policy. And no, I don’t want to come over there. I bought online from a store that delivers because I want the product delivered here, at my doorstep. Cancel my order. I don’t want to ever hear from you guys again.”
Truly an Ultra-Romanian business
