Art. 25 paragraph (6) of the Regulations regarding the Professional Activity of the Students of the University of Bucharest, as adopted on March 23, 2006 (archived here):

Students whom, at the end of their studies, having gone through the number of semesters (years of study) specified in the learning plan for the duration of the studies, have failed to complete their school obligations and have a maximum of 5 failed exams, may request an extension of their schooling duration by 1 - 2 semesters as per the conditions of art. 58 of the Education Act (with tax) and as per the decisions of the Department Council.

Art. 23 letter d) of the Regulations regarding the Professional Activity of the Students of the Political Science Department of the University of Bucharest, as adopted on October 5, 2005 (archived here):

Students whom, at the end of their undegraduate studies, having gone through the number of semesters specified in the learning plan for the duration of the studies, have failed to complete their school obligations and have a maximum of 5 failed exams in the last 3 semesters, may request an extension of their schooling by 1 semester, as per the conditions of art. 58 of the Education Act (with tax).

Not that I’d be interested anymore, but what’s the dillio?
Do we apply the “pissing contest” principle (University of Bucharest vs. the Political Science Department) or the legal principle according to which the most favorable provisions apply?

Art. 25 alin. (6) din Regulamentul privind Activitatea Profesională a Studenţilor al Universităţii Bucureşti adoptat pe 23 martie 2006 (arhivat aici):

Studentul care la finalul studiilor, după parcurgerea numărului de semestre (ani de studii) prevăzute în planul de învăţământ pentru durata studiilor, nu şi-a finalizat în totalitate obligaţiile şcolare şi are un număr de maxim 5 restanţe, poate solicita prelungirea şcolarităţii cu 1 - 2 semestre în condiţiile art. 58 din Legea învăţământului (cu taxă) şi ale hotărârilor consiliului facultăţii.

Art. 23 lit. d) din Regulamentul privind Activitatea Profesională a Studenţilor al Facultăţii de Ştiinţe Politice din cadrul Universităţii Bucureşti adoptat pe 5 octombrie 2005 (arhivat aici):

Studentul care, la finalul ciclului de licenţă, după parcurgerea numărului de semestre prevăzute în planul de învăţământ pentru durata studiilor, nu şi-a finalizat în totalitate obligaţiile şcolare şi are un număr de maxim 4 restanţe din ultimele 3 semestre, poate solicita prelungirea şcolarităţii cu 1 semestru în condiţiile art. 58 din Legea învăţământului (cu taxă).

Nu că m-ar mai interesa, dar cum rămâne, stimaţilor?
Aplicăm principiul “care o are mai lungă” (Universitatea Bucureşti vs. Facultatea de Ştiinţe Politice) sau principiul legal conform căruia se aplică prevederile cele mai favorabile (că tot are Universitatea Bucureşti rectoratul în Facultatea de Drept)?

PS: Forma corectă este maximum, stimaţi intelectuali.

Some very smart people from the Government - actually, only from the Ministry of Economy and Finance) - forgot to transfer the salary money for the National Consumer Protection Authority (all of it! country-wide!).

For a few days now, the authority’s employees have been left without their salaries…

What do you think: If, G-d forbid, Consumer Protection Authority inspectors accepted bribes… would they be demanding more money now?

Nişte inteligenţi de pe la Guvern - de fapt, doar de la Ministerul Economiei şi Finanţelor) - au uitat să mai dea banii de salarii pentru Autoritatea Naţională pentru Protecţia Consumatorilor (toată! pe ţară!).

De câteva zile, angajaţii autorităţii stau şi fluieră a pagubă, cu cardurile de salarii pe zero…

Ce crezi, în cazul în care inspectorii OPC ar primi şpagă (D-amne fereşte!), acum vor cere mai multă?

Discuţie cu un reprezentant de vânzări de la Ultra Pro.

El: “Să ştiţi că nu puteţi plăti numerar la livrare pentru produs dacă îl comandaţi pe firmă. Dacă vreţi puteţi să ne faceţi OP.”

Eu: “Dacă vă fac OP îmi livraţi produsul tot azi?”

El: “Nu. După ce se confirmă plata…”

Eu: “Eu vreau produsul azi. Nu mâine, nu poimâine, nu când vedeţi voi banii pe extras. Aceeaşi chitanţă pentru persoană fizică se emite şi pentru persoană juridică. Care-i problema?”

El: “Aceasta este politica companiei. Dacă doriţi produsul astăzi şi îl vreţi pe firma puteţi veni să-l cumpăraţi de la sediul nostru şi-l puteţi plăti cash aici.”

Eu: “Este o politică cretină. Şi nu, nu vreau să vin. Am comandat online la un magazin care livrează pentru că vreau produsul aici, la botul calului. Anulaţi-mi comanda şi să nu mai aud de voi.”
